We set out on this research topic when we partnered with the The Northwest Cooperative Development Center (NWCDC).
Located in Olympia, WA, the NWCDC is a non-profit organization dedicated to the formation and technical support of business and housing cooperatives. NWCDC has extensive experience assisting manufactured home communities converting to LEHCs. To address the need for more affordable housing, NWCDC wanted information that would help them expand affordable limited-equity housing cooperative (LEHC) development to other housing models.
Our hope is that the information we gathered during this project will help them in this endeavor.
